How do I sign up?

No. Free to start. Cashback is free at every brand in the directory.
Can I have more than one account?
One account per person.
Where is Cashblack available?
UK and US right now. Ireland is coming.

How much cashback do I earn?
Depends on the brand. You see the rate before you shop.
When does cashback show up in my wallet?
After the brand confirms the purchase. Usually within a few days.
What if I return the item?
Returns cancel the cashback for that purchase.
Which brands count?
Every Black-owned brand in the Cashblack directory.

What is the minimum cashout?
£10.
How do I cash out?
To your bank account by bank transfer.
How long does cashout take?
Usually 1 to 3 working days.
Are payouts taxable?
Cashback is generally not taxable income for personal shopping. Talk to a tax professional if you are not sure.
"Black-owned"?
Why is cashback only offered at Black-owned businesses?
Because that is the point. Years of research showed a direct link between the socioeconomic impact of racism and the lack of support for Black-owned businesses. The most effective answer we found: pay people to shop Black-owned and have those businesses reinvest in their customers. Every brand in the directory identifies as Black-owned, and everyone is welcome to join and earn.
What does Cashblack define as a Black-owned business?
Our retail partners identify as Black-owned themselves. Self-identification is the definition.
Can anyone join Cashblack?
Yes. Cashblack is open to everyone over 18.

How do I get my business onto Cashblack?
Start on the Work with us page. Free to list for eligible retailers, with paid tiers when you want more.
Can my business work with Cashblack?
Cashback runs on retail partners who identify as Black-owned. Beyond cashback we hold strategic partnerships with businesses like Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo and Etsy. The Work with us page has the detail.
What does it cost to list my store?
Listing starts free for eligible retailers. Paid tiers add visibility, more offers and event access.
Can I set the cashback my customers get?
Yes. You pick your rate and we work with you on the shape of the offer.
